Better Schools, Better Students

Many classrooms in rural and urban govt primary schools lack the most basic infrastructure needed to make it into a conducive learning environment.

Children sitting on cloth mats or on the floors often have poor posture while writing. Teachers also face the challenge of maintaining their attention and keeping them drawn towards the blackboard and away from constantly shifting.

More than anything, these children deserve better!

So when we began the Good School Project one of the initiatives we undertook was to make the classroom a better learning space for the children. Addition of good quality desks and benches, minor sprucing up and painting the classroom (wherever necessary) and we soon have a bunch of children who really like their classroom.

Their smiles and thrilled curiosity on first seeing the classroom is priceless. The impact on their education though not quantifiable precisely will surely accrue over time.
